What is with Pakinstan and its fast bowlers? They have a nose for getting into controversies, it seems! Take the latest Mohammed Asif's detention case in Dubai on grounds of having a drug substance with him - read the report here in TOI .. Now while the authorities have cleared him of the drug charges, statements coming out of the camp of the fast bowler suggests that the authorities decided to vent their ire out on him after he slapped one of them. Previously, both Asif and Shoiab were banned for using drugs but the ban was later overturned. The report in TOI eve suggests that some BCCI officials are not impressed with the way the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) handles these drug issues. Oh well, issues, opinions, perspectives - Some things just never change, do they?
